by Kathy Michelle Shiflet was born October 17, 1967, in Richwood, WV. First being introduced to the Gospel as Jesus Christ as a child, Kathy made the decision to trust Christ in her early teens. Later in her teen years at a Youth Conference, Kathy surrendered her life for fulltime Christian service as a Missionary or Pastor’s wife.
Kathy meet Dennis Leatherman in the Bus Ministry of Highland Park Baptist Church,in Chattanooga, Tennessee while attending Tennessee Temple University. Dennis and Kathy were married February 14, 1987. In 1993, with two you boys, Dennis and Kathy moved to Oakland, MD where Dennis has been Pastor for 27 years.
