Eyes opening, now getting up, breathing in air;
Back achy, tight muscles stretched out with a flare.
Slow moving, here there, away goes the cook-ware;
Great comfort, for ever thy hand is there.
House bustling, school books are lost, found still nowhere;
Packed lunches, small youngster loud crying, nightmare!
Dear Hubby’s gone, quick to work, time for my hair;
Great comfort, for ever thy hand is there.
Peace quiet, birds singing, nice time for a prayer;
Hot tasty French pastry, tea steaming, nice pair.
God’s Word alone time, this all people must spare;
Great comfort, for ever thy hand is there.
Dressed quickly, door slamming, one better take care;
Jammed traffic, horns honking, cars plenty everywhere!
Boss grumpy, cross co-workers, break needed somewhere;
Great comfort, for ever thy hand is there.
Work now off, friend meeting, down at the town square;
Each strengthens each other, and shops quick for dress wear.
Home now and tired, hubby sets out the dish-ware;
Great comfort, for ever thy hand is there.
Fixed dinner, great bible time, tired big stares;
School work complete, tidy house, go all upstairs.
Fun reading, big books and night tales of brown bear;
Great comfort, for ever thy hand is there.
Glad tidings o’er ending the daily fanfare;
All children in bed, asleep now, silence doth blare.
Calm, quiet, so peaceful, time for the night’s prayer;
Great comfort, for ever God’s hand is there.
